Description

Calling all 4-H agents and volunteers! Interested in making your county 4-H program healthier, while having fun at the same time?  The 4th H for Health Challenge is an easy program that is available for all counties! The challenge helps your 4-H’ers adopt practices that will help them be healthy now, and in the future. With the 3 principles of Drink Right, Move More, and Snack Smart, it’s easy to teach and reinforce healthy habits.

Counties during the month of February can offer water at four meetings, offer fruits and vegetables snack at four meetings and include 15 minutes of physical activity at four meetings and then fill out the tracker in the leader packet below. Counties can then scan and email the tracker to jennifer.tackett@uky.edu for a chance to win some awsome prizes for your county program!  Below you will find information on how you can take the 4th H for Health Challenge!
