Kentucky 4-H Volunteer Advisory Council
The Kentucky 4-H Volunteer Advisory Council serves as a communication link between
4-H volunteers between the local, district and state levels of the Kentucky 4-H Youth Development Program. Two delegates from each CES district meet with the Assistant Director for the Kentucky 4-H Youth Development Program and the State 4-H Extension Specialists twice a year to discuss issues related to Kentucky youth that need to be addressed by the Kentucky 4-H Development Program. Members give input into new 4-H programs and the State 4-H Youth Development Plan of work and assist in evaluating the impact and success of specific 4-H programs.
Representatives from the council serve as Kentucky 4-H volunteers on the Kentucky State Extension Council and the Kentucky 4-H Agent Advisory Council.
At least two face-to-face meetings are held a year during the fall and spring.
