Kentucky 4-H State Fair
The Kentucky State Fair hosts 4-H projects from across the state in Cloverville. Cloverville consists of 18 divisions where 4-H'ers can showcase their projects. In order to exhibit a 4-H project in Cloverville, 4-H'ers must first compete in their county and be selected as the grand champion in the class. These grand champions advance to the Kentucky State Fair and are exhibited in Cloverville where they are judged on the Danish System.
4-H'ers can be involved in Cloverville by exhibiting projects, mannequin modeling, demonstrating, hosting, and performing on stage.
During the State Fair, 4-H livestock events are taking place across the fairgrounds. (See livestock rules for more information on these events.) 4-H"ers can also compete in judging events, bicycle rodeo, quiz bowls, skill-a-thons, and more.

Youth: 4-H'ers age 9-18 years old whose exhibits are selected for entry in the state fair. Most counties select exhibits during the county fair or some type of qualifying event.
Cloverbuds may participate in specific classes in dog, sheep, and goat only. Agents will need to check rules and regulations for Cloverbud entries in the current Kentucky State Fair catalog.
NOTE: Cloverbuds may not exhibit or enter items in Cloverville, Rabbit, Poultry Judging, Avian Bowl, Horticulture Contest, Land Judging, Bicycle Rodeo, Tractor, or Sewing Skill-a-thon. PLEASE check birthdays closely to avoid entering a Cloverbud resulting in their disqualification from an event or exhibit.
Adults: Adults are encouraged to serve as judges in their area of expertise, as hosts in Cloverville and/or work with 4-H agents in execution of District Theme Days.
