Bicycle
Overview
- Bicycle Fact Sheet (Coming Soon)
- Volunteer Opportunities
Kentucky 4-H believes that all youth should have opportunities for positive youth development in our four guiding concepts: mastery, belonging, independence, and generosity. This project fosters mastery by allowing Kentucky 4-H members to learn the parts of a bicycle, bike safety, how to ride a bike, and planning a bike trip; Belonging by learning about bicycles and bicycle safety in classrooms, clubs, project groups, at health fairs, and bike rodeos; Independence by utilizing bicycles as healthy transportation resources; and Generosity by giving back to their community through learning skills in safety and inspection to allow them to help others ride safely.
