Event Description

The 100th anniversary of Kentucky 4-H Teen Conference is set to be held on June 11th – 14th, 2024 on the University of Kentucky campus. This event brings high school youth from across the Commonwealth together to take part in a variety of activities and workshops that help showcase the university and build strong leaders. Our goal in 4-H is to engage youth in hands-on, interactive workshops that elevate current or generate new interest in attending the University of Kentucky. We also hope to build key life skills that aid youth in their development of becoming strong adults and positive contributors to their communities. With your help we can bring a wider variety of opportunities for these hands-on, interactive workshops (we call “majors”) and showcase all that the University of Kentucky has to offer to prospective students. Majors will take place on June 12th and June 13th, 2024. Each major session is offered over a period of two days for a total of six hours of education (three hours of educational programming each day). This is an opportunity to showcase, recruit, and inspire youth to pursue interest in your department’s fields of study. If you are interested in leading a major session, please take a moment to complete this online Qualtrics proposal form. The form will ask for your contact information, in addition to information about your major session, including a title and brief description. We appreciate your time and interest in making our 100th year more memorable for our 4-H youth.
