Description

The Kentucky Volunteer Forum is a developmental and educational conference geared towards 4-H and Extension volunteers from all program areas. The forum offers 220 workshops in 25 content tracks, professional development sessions, seminars on wheels, networking opportunities, a trade show, and three recognition events. Volunteers work to complete requirements necessary for accreditation in Agriculture, Camping, Cloverbuds, Communications & Expressive Arts, Family & Consumer Sciences, Health, Leadership, Natural Resources, and Science, Engineering, & Technology. Additionally, volunteers, community partners, and 10-year 4-H members are recognized for their contributions to the Kentucky 4-H Program, and their impact on the lives of Kentucky youth.

Kentucky Volunteer Forum Information

Registration Fees

Full Time Registration ($250): (Thursday—Saturday) Includes forum costs, Thursday Event, Friday breakfast, Thursday PM event, Friday boxed lunch, Friday banquet, Saturday breakfast, and Saturday luncheon. Register online by December 15 at 11:59 PM EST.

Late Registration ($300): Full time participants who register after the December 15 deadline. Registration due January 19th at 11:59 PM EST.

Thursday Only Registration ($75): Registration due January 19th at 11:59 PM EST.

Friday Only Registration ($200): Includes Friday breakfast, Friday boxed lunch, Friday banquet, and forum costs. Registration due January 19th at 11:59 PM EST.

Saturday Only Registration ($150): Includes Saturday breakfast, luncheon and forum costs. Registration due January 19th at 11:59 PM EST.

4-H volunteers please fill out the registration form and return to your county 4-H agent. If you are donor/sponsor who is not a 4-H volunteer or an out of state delegate, register online using the link below. University of Kentucky staff, excluding 4-H agents, please also register using the Registration for Out of State Participants and Donors link.

The 2024 Kentucky Volunteer Forum Grant is designed to fund county and club-level projects and activities that developed as a result of participation in the 2024 Kentucky Volunteer Forum. Grants will be provided for, but not limited to: piloting programs new to the county or club, new innovative projects, purchase of curriculum, educational tools/equipment, and volunteer training. The grants will require a dollar-for-dollar cash match, the investment the county makes in the 2024 Kentucky Volunteer Forum can be considered the match, but must be documented in the grant application (i.e., registration, lodging, mileage).
